Kindness Warriors Taking #icare by Storm

Since the birth of the #icare movement a few weeks ago, there have been so many amazing kindness warriors that have teamed up to make a difference for those in need.  The early momentum with the #icare movement has been incredibly inspiring.  I started this movement thinking it would be a one-man labor of love.  Boy was I wrong.  Literally minutes after creating the Facebook Group #icare, the flood gates seemed to open as my friends and family started joining.  And then THEIR friends and family started joining.  The response was beyond humbling.

So many amazing Kindness Warriors from all walks of life coming together to make our message heard around the world.  Our message is clear: “You are not alone, and you are welcome here.”  Our mission is to provide support, community, friendship, and resources to those battling depression and other mental illnesses.  We are working daily to rid the world of the stigmas attached to mental illnesses.

Nobody deserves to navigate within their own thoughts feeling as though they are alone.  There are people out there who care.  There are people out there who will listen.  There are people out there who can relate.  There are people out there who can point you in the right direction.  There are platforms that exist where you can safely open up and share your story.

We are a movement.  We are a community.  We are a symbol of kindness, hope, and positivity.

We Care.

#icare

Happy Sunday,

I struggle with dissociative identity disorder & am heavily involved with mental health advocacy. I will be including your website in a post about “other worthwhile causes to join” on my blog, instagram (www.instagram.com/kristinchronicles), & facebook platforms.
Thank you for doing such a beautiful thing for this community!

Love it! One question: how do I get involved?
