It's been about a year and a half since Chester Bennington of Linkin Park passed away, which means it has been about a year and a half since I created The #icare Movement, a platform that I hoped would bring relief, hope, kindness, acceptance, and so much more to those battling depression, bipolar, anxiety, etc.
The past 6+ months I took a step back from #icare and have been pretty quiet publicly, which has been hard, but necessary. Hard, mainly because I do know that my posts/videos/etc did help some people. But necessary so that I could get laser focused to put myself in a position to take #icare to a higher level.
Today I am happy to announce that I am finally pulling the trigger on forming a non-profit for #icare, and will have an amazing team by my side working to reduce the stigmas surrounding mental health via social media awareness campaigns, and expanding from there.
#icare truly turned my life around in ways I will never be able to fully explain, and it is beyond amazing to be able to do some good in the mental health realm with some amazing people.
Plenty more info to come in the next few days/weeks.
